Shah Rukh Khan Struggle Days: Juhi Chawla, who has worked with Shahrukh Khan in many films, has said that there was a time when the actor did not have money to pay EMI. She said that due to not being able to pay EMI, Shahrukh’s Gypsy car was taken away. During this, Juhi Chawla recalled Shahrukh Khan’s struggling days and told how the actor used to work in 2-3 shifts every day despite not having a house in Mumbai.
Let us tell you that Juhi Chawla has known Shahrukh Khan for a long time. Both of them have not only worked together in many films but today both are business partners. Juhi Chawla is also a part of Shahrukh Khan’s IPL team KKR and she is also seen in it.
Juhi narrated the whole story
During an event of Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Juhi talked about Shahrukh Khan and said- ‘I remember that Shahrukh did not have a house in Mumbai in those days. I don’t know where he stayed after coming from Delhi. In such a situation, he used to drink tea with the film unit, eat food with the film crew, due to which he used to mingle with everyone quickly.’

‘At that time, Shahrukh used to work 2-3 shifts. On one hand, Shahrukh was working with me in Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman in 1992, and on the other hand, he was working in Dil Aashna Hai at the same time. He was also shooting for Deewana with Divya Bharti at the same time.’
During this time, Juhi Chawla told the story of Shahrukh’s car going away. Juhi said- ‘At that time Shahrukh Khan used to have a black gypsy. But one day, due to not being able to pay the EMI, the gypsy went away or something like that happened. During that time Shahrukh came to the set with great disappointment, during that time I told him not to worry, one day you will have many such cars. Shahrukh still remembers this because it came true, look at him today where he has reached.’

Shahrukh and Juhi have worked together in films like Yash Chopra’s Darr, Mahesh Bhatt’s Duplicate, Rajiv Mehra’s Ram Jaane, Aziz Mirza’s Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani and One 2 Ka 4. Both of them also opened a production house together with Aziz Mirza in 2000 under the name Dreams Unlimited. Later Shahrukh Khan started his own studio named Red Chillies.
